Your body may be brought back to a harmonic form by fortifying the abdominal wall and by removing the skin surplus.

To support the healing you should wear a belly belt for three weeks after the operation and pressure pants for 4 to 6 weeks.
Two weeks before the operation one should refrain from taking any medication containing acetylsalicilic acid (aspirin, ASS etc) as it diminishes the clotting (coagulation) capacity of the blood.
One should also refrain from consuming alcohol, cigarettes and sleeping pills.
Nicotin can diminish the blood irrigation of tissues and thus slow the healing process.
So it is important to refrain from nicotin two weeks before the operation and during the time of healing.

Post-operational bleeding and hematomas may occur.
Infections obstructing the healing are seldom.
Numbness in the belly region mostly disappeares within a few weeks.
Visible scars may be corrected after six months.
Incidents and complications are seldom, but cannot be totally excluded.
